    Helped out on my friend’s kids’ drawing class today. An 8-yr-old gave me her miniature drawing, titled: “pregnant frog.” :))

  4. A couple photos, a still, and a gif of some animation I’ve made especially for a solo modern dance piece by Tomo Sone, a wonderful dancer from Kyoto.

    The dance , “Las Meninas,” was created especially for “Nights of The Rising Sun” - a Japan themed week of dance at the Suzanne Dellal Centre in Neve Tzedek (Tel Aviv.)

    It was performed on September 7th. The dance was lovely, a really magical production I was very proud to contribute to. And a bunch of good friends came to see it with me, which was super fun (thanks)…

    Also, kindly reviewed in the press (in Heb):

    Habama Dance Review

    Animation for the stage is quite the special experience. Ugh, how I envy people who can dance…

    Two of my short shorts, “As Luck Would Have It” and “He Was a Sweet Man” will be screened tomorrow night at “P’tit Pain 3” in downtown Montreal. An event for animated film lovers I would totally attend if I weren’t physically half way across the globe.
And just look at their lovely poster by Iris Boudreau. Love it.

    Rooftop films show+screening of “Romantic Twisted” shorts in Brooklyn. My film was twisted enough to participate, thankfully. Music-and-a movie.

  8. I answered some Qs about my animated music video for the amazing Tom Rosenthal, and got this kind write up in Dezeen mag. Super cool of them.

  9. Meanwhile in Israel: I’m participating in this little illustration exhibition.  My illu was featured in a local newspaper (distributed in Naharia and the Western Galilee -!). How ‘bout them apples…have a good Sat. x

  10. Time to tidy up and get back to work!! Animation awaits.

    So, back home from Zagreb and Annecy:

    In Zagreb my RCA short was awarded a special mention, for which I am forever grateful. At least I think that really happened. Wowzer. :}

    And Annecy is so beautiful. Forgot how much fun festivals were. Hope to be back for future editions and meet even MORE lovely people/artists/pals.

    See you there next time for more films…

    Enjoy le wknd!
